Dear Bodo,
My wife talked me into trying the internet for my next hairpiece and 'Boy, am I glad I did!' Your internet site was the most informative and the most reassuring. Every aspect of wearing a hairpiece was covered, and most importantly to me, as someone listing over the pond, was a Freephone number, with which I could contact your staff. This, I have done and found them very polite and helpful.
I ordered and used the Fitting kit, which I found to be a surprisingly simple procedure, and my 'transbase' hairpieces are everything that you claim them to be.
The colour match in 'spot on', the style is just as I asked for, and the hairpieces are truly undetectable.
I have been wearing a hairpiece for about thirty years, have tried others, but none comes close to the quality of yours. Furthermore, they have been considerably more expensive.

Dear Bodo:

I'm taking a great deal of pleasure in informing you I have or will have worn your "Transbase" hairpiece for one year the 17th of this month. I had to let you know after wearing hairpieces for almost 30 years I have found the "Transbase" to be the finest hairpiece I have ever had and I have had some of the finest, like hand made in New York City and other famous well-known hairpieces. The "Transbase" continues to have the same resilience it had when it was new and it continues to hold its color perfectly.

I find it is advantageous to have two hairpieces to be able to wear one while the second has been washed and set on a form to air dry which makes it easy for me to maintain so naturally I am pleased that I ordered both at the same time.

Your supplies of shampoo, conditioner, and softener work the best I have ever had.

Just a brief but nonetheless sincere note to thank Ziggy and your self for opening your salon on Saturday to trim my two Transbase pieces. As you know, I traveled especially from Portugal for these toupees and your willingness to open the shop out of regular hours helped me tremendously.

Whilst writing I should also like to offer my testimonial to the quality and design of the Transbase.

Unfortunately, I genetically lost my own hair at a very early age and I have now been wearing hairpieces for over thirty five years. In that time there has been great advances in the technology and materials used for the manufacture of toupees, and I am embarrassed to think about how artificial some of the earlier pieces were. I know why they are called rugs, because that is what they looked like.

However, that is now a thing of the past with your Transbase, which, when styled property, is completely undetectable, even when viewed close up.

A point I often think is overlooked by some salons offering hairpieces is the density of the piece. If one's own remaining hair, like mine, is starting to thin then a thick toupee will look unnatural. You offer different densities of hair, so a match to the existing hair is more like nature intended.

Even in cooler climates a hairpiece can be uncomfortably hot to wear; which in turn makes the tape lose its adhesive qualities, but the lightness and loose weave of the Transbase ventilates the scalp in any weather. It really is very comfortable to wear at anytime.

Lastly, I must comment about the ability of the synthetic filament, to resist fading and bleaching. I do not like wearing a hat but I do like the sunshine, and previous hairpieces I have owned all change colour very quickly. The Transbase hold its colour very well. A whole summer in the sun seems to make no difference.

Once again, thanks for all your help and for providing a really good product and service. I look forward to seeing you and your colleagues again on my next trip to Florida.
